[/B][/COLOR] Luna is charming and spontaneous. Though occasionally rather annoying and harebrained she maintains a cool and collected attitude. Luna doesn't care what people say about her and has very high self confidence. She sees the good in everyone and always looks at the bright side. Even though her mother died Luna is still very pleasant and hasn't let it effect her much. Being a Ravenclaw makes her very clever and witty so she is actually pretty charming. Starting out, she seems a bit annoying and overly energetic, but you warm up to her quirks later. Often, Luna is spontaneous which makes her fun to be around. Also, she is very resourceful and smart so she comes in handy on most of Harry, Ron, and Hermione's adventures. Though she seems rather stupid and ditzy, she's actually quite articulate. She is very patriotic about her house and even cheers for other peoples. Luna is supportive of her friends and family which is a very admirable trait. Luna is an optimist which boosts others when they are down. She is quite comical, sometimes not even trying to be. Her zany and chaotic nature makes her seem quite mad, but really she's just a happy person. She believes the oddest things that make no sense to most people, but are sometimes true. Looking closely, you see that she is actually one of the most useful characters.

BEST MEMORYMy best memory is being accepted into Hogwarts. Why? Because I felt that it would make me feel closer to my mother. I was sitting at home with my dad and unexpectedly, we got a letter that wasn't a bill or fan mail from the small population of QUIBBLER subscribers. My dad told me what it was and I read the letter about forty times because I was so excited. I never will forget that day.
WORST MEMORY The day my mother died. It was sad and I don't like to speak of it much but since you're making me, I will. I remember crying for three days straight before I finally realized that this isn't how I should be. I told myself to suck it up and move on, because I'm not a moping person. I'm energetic and happy. Even though I will never be able to erase that terrible memory, I can move on and be myself again.

OVERALL HISTORY Luna Lovegood lives with her father because her mother died when she was experimenting with spells. She is the daughter of the editor for the QUIBBLER. The QUIBBLER is a wizard gossip magazine that displays mostly the truth but some bogus theories as well. Luna was accepted into HOGWARTS and was placed in the Ravenclaw house because of her brains and wit. Luna was friends with Ginny Weasley before Harry, Hermione, and Ron.
She is in Ginny's year, but in a different house. People call Luna, Loony Lovegood because she seems a few fries short of a happy meal, when really she is clever. Luna supported Harry and joined DUMBLEDORE'S ARMY when he first started it without hesitation. She can relate to him well because she also lost someone dear to her. She seemed annoying to Ron at first, but later she grew on him.
Lastly, Luna believed Harry when he said Voldermort was back. Her father was also very supportive of Harry and published in his magazine what Harry said. Luna also made a giant paper mache' lion's head to wear to a Gryffindor game just to support Harry and Ron and all her other Gryffindor friends. She made friends with all the rejects and was happy in doing so. Luna made an impression. I don't know if you want the future but she became Luna SCAMANDER in the future and gave birth to twins. ROLEPLAY SAMPLE Luna sat outside with her toes in the water of the lake. She knew that the squid surely wouldn't come this close to land so she would be fine as far as safety went. Luna sighed and observed everyone. They all were laughing and giggling among there small groups of friends. Luna was alone. Not that she minded it.
Luna didn't mind sitting alone and observing. It was fun. She liked to people watch. She smiled to herself and looked at her toes in the water. They were barely visible. Her toenails were painted orange and her fingernails were pink. Her pedicure was a tad messy, but good nonetheless. She bit her lip and brought her legs out, crossing them indian style.
Luna removed a book from her book bag and cracked it open to the page she had left off on. It was ALICE IN WONDERLAND. Alice reminded Luna of herself in some ways. Different from all the rest and curious. That was definitely Luna. She liked that about herself; how different she was. Luna embraced it instead of changing herself to fit in with others. Luna shut her book, put it back into her bag, and skipped back into the castle to find Ginny Weasley.[/ul][/SIZE][/FONT][/COLOR]
