The Plot: Gyer’s Regency, one of the most prestigious private schools in the world. Located on it’s own island in the Caribbean, the Gyer family has earned a lot of wealth from the school. For nearly 2 centuries, the school has been handed down generation after generation, only letting in children of the most wealthy and famous families.
When the previous Headmaster retired, he was troubled by a decision. To hand the school down to his only child, a woman by the name of Kylan Gyer or to her cousin Trent Gyer. Kylan stepped up to the plate and proved herself worthy at the tender age of 25. She kept the school the way it had always been, prestigious and extremely private.
But 2 years after taking over the school, she made a decision to start a night class to fill the empty dorm on the South side of the school grounds. Other races were let in along with students with special abilities as long as they could afford the expensive tuition. One rule, the students were sworn to secrecy about the new arrivals.
That year had gone off without a hitch but near the end of the school year, Kylan was forced to make a drastic decision. A 17 year old telekinetic by the name of Travis Loch had killed a Day Class student in the woods. He had received instant expulsion, and was forbidden to ever leave the island.
Because of Travis' actions, the students of the Night Class came back the next year and were placed under extreme restrictions. There was no mingling with the Day Class, and they had to appear as a normal human if they ventured out during the day. The older students of the Day Class were forced to swear an oath that no mention of the nature that surrounded the Night Class would ever pass their lips. If the secret was let out, it was instant expulsion for those students.
Now two years later, Kylan keeps an eye out for any chance of the school's secret being exploited. And most importantly, she keeps a close tab on Travis Loch for any signs of trouble.
